In addition to the professional character, Make up Factory attaches particular importance to the use of the products without hesitation.
All products are tested for skin compatibility and dermatologically confirmed. Extensive expertise and strict quality control guarantee that each product is “state-of-the-art”.
Make up Factory expressly rejects the use of animal testing.
Since the company was founded, Make up Factory has not tested any cosmetic products on animals and does not commission any animal testing. Alternatively, Make up Factory conducts internal application tests or patch tests (epicutaneous tests) on voluntary test subjects to determine the local compatibility of a product.
Animal testing has been prohibited for decorative cosmetic products since 1986 under the Animal Welfare Act. Since 1998, this has applied to all finished cosmetic products. Since March 2009, there has also been a corresponding ban on cosmetic raw materials, which Make up Factory very much welcomes. According to this, raw materials developed for use in cosmetics may no longer be tested on animals with regard to their compatibility. In order to ensure compliance with these regulations, Make up Factory also obtains confirmation from its upstream suppliers that no animal testing is carried out by them.
